After missing for the past 2 years, a new NESSC Christmas lecture will be held on Sunday December 18. In this 6^th edition, NESSC-researcher Guido van der Werf, professor of Global Carbon Cycle and Land Use Change at VU Amsterdam, will talk about his research on the influence of worldwide forest fires and climate change. Please note: this lecture will be in Dutch. 

Like the previous times, the lecture will be held at NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam. The lecture starts at 16:00, coffee and tea are served from 15:30. It is possible to take a look around in the museum from 13:00.
