NESSC Christmas Lecture 2019
On Sunday December 15th, the annual NESSC Christmas lecture takes place. In this year’s lecture NESSC-researcher Peter Kuipers Munneke, glaciologist at IMAU, Utrecht, will talk about his research on the melting behaviour of the large ice sheets of Greenland and Antarctica, and what this means for the sea level rise in the future. Please note: this lecture will be in Dutch.
Like last year, the lecture will be held at NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam. The lecture starts at 16:00, coffee and tea are served from 15:30. It is possible to take a look around in the museum from 13:00.
