NESSC Christmas Lecture 2018
On Sunday 16 December 2018, NESSC organises the fourth edition of its annual NESSC Christmas lecture. The 2018 NESSC Chrismas lecture will be held by climate researcher Jorien Vonk (VU University Amsterdam) on the topic of the thawing of permafrost in the polar regions and its consequences for the environment, human settlements and climate system. Please note: the NESSC Christmas lecture is held in Dutch.
Like last year, the lecture will be held at NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam, starting at 16:00, with coffee and tea served from 15:30. If you’d like to take a look around in the museum first: by showing your ticket, you get free admission to NEMO from 13:00.
Update 11-12-2018: Registration for attending the NESSC Christmas Lecture has now closed.
